Chang's on April 28 and put SCRANTON in the promotion code field and you'll get 20 percent off, because the national chain feels your pain at bidding "goodbye to one of Thursday night TV’s most beloved characters in a not-to-miss season finale." Look for 30 or so craft beers and a frost rail: That's a frozen section of bar you keep your stein on for continued cool drinking. On special on lighting night will be N.C. beers and grilled chicken wings with Dinosaur sauce. The regular menu ranges from imported-from-New-York hot dogs to kabobs to sides such as potato latkes. You can check out the menu here. 920 Hamilton St.; 704-333-4111.

Not like nailing Jell-O to a wall...

... more like building the wall with Jell-O. This, a view into the workings of two producers of "avant-garde bespoke jellies," is phenomenal. And it is definitely "the wobble" that does it, although the colors are amazing, and the accents pretty delicious as well.

Charlotte goes Eater, + links

Eater National takes a peek at Charlotte, with some local help, here. Pretty web site with a few problematic links -- but New York now has THREE artisanal grilled cheese TRUCKS? That's the kind of info we need, stat. Carne asada is not a crime, y'all.

Do you know where the pupu platter was first served? Find out -- along with defining the "century egg" and more -- here.

This is pretty much 3 1/2 minutes too long, but it IS exploding cake. Favorite: yellow guy at 3:11.
