Eat local! Chains are chains. And the are owned by big business from far away. I am not saying that all local restaurant are good, but support the good ones. Think about it.
I'm sure Sunset Grille will work out. They have to find out what works and let them know. Maybe they could keep some of the Las Ramblas most popular dishes too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237032788800605198.post-17583568031942603012010-04-14T10:30:58.139-04:002010-04-14T10:30:58.139-04:00Closing the restaurant is the worst idea ever. It will sorely be missed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237032788800605198.post-44481479852746363392010-02-09T11:19:34.656-05:002010-02-09T11:19:34.656-05:00What is hard to understand is that Las Ramblas has...What is hard to understand is that Las Ramblas has a good business most nights when we are there. . .seems to be doing better than many other restaurants. . . and it's a unique place, in terms of food and atmosphere. We loved Patou in the same location, and it was ruined when it moved to East Blvd. Hopefully, this will not be the case with Las Ramblas. At least they are looking for a smaller place. But there is zero chance we will be going to a "neighborhood grill concept" in the existing Las Ramblas location. As others have mentioned, we have WAY too much of that concept in Charlotte already. A ton of "neighborhood grill" places have already gone under since the economy tanked. This looks like a mistake to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237032788800605198.post-23037032996168529822010-01-29T20:13:33.758-05:002010-01-29T20:13:33.758-05:00This country just can't get enough ground bovi...This country just can't get enough ground bovine flesh.

One day an enterprising young person will set up shop offering pre masticated
bovine flesh.

You know as a convenience.Algernonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15295015805726494828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237032788800605198.post-23231045071506999972010-01-29T17:25:20.809-05:002010-01-29T17:25:20.809-05:00I hope Las Ramblas can stay in the neighborhood. ...I hope Las Ramblas can stay in the neighborhood. I would hate for them to replace the restaurant with your regular ole burger joint.Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05119483798732761593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237032788800605198.post-23182587483647028192010-01-29T17:13:19.558-05:002010-01-29T17:13:19.558-05:00JUST what Dilworth doesn't need--more pizzas, ...JUST what Dilworth doesn't need--more pizzas, burgers and sandwiches.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237032788800605198.post-30235348213223593612010-01-29T16:54:49.985-05:002010-01-29T16:54:49.985-05:00No, No, No!!!
