Thai in Gastonia
Thai House in Gastonia (interior at right) hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Jan. 15, with complimentary Thai food and drink. (RSVP by Jan. 14.) 4008 E. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia; 704-823-1797.
Negativity. You are sad. I live in Gastonia, love Thai and eat all of my Asian meals with chopsticks. I look forward to dining in this beautiful restaurant as do many of my friends from Gastonia. Hope it is a great success!
I will enjoy having Thai closer to home than all the way in Charlotte. However I do agree that many people won't know what to make of it! I was at Sake Express one day and there was a guy waiting on his order and his phone rang, he picked up, and told the other person he was at sake express...as in for God's sake..not saa-key...but just sake.
I'm sure it will close down soon. I doubt people in Gastonia can even pronounce Thai, let alone know what it is.

Excellent experiences both times my husband and I have been here. The sushi is quite good!
