Dine out, do good

"Dining Out for Life" is the name of the April 25 event in Charlotte geared to support HIV prevention, counseling and testing, plus housing programs and services for people living with HIV/AIDS. The Carolinas CARE Partnership has the following restaurants offering a portion of their proceeds on that day: Blue, Dresslers, Flying Biscuit and Mert's Heart and Soul, plus Ruby Tuesday and California Pizza Kitchen. (Texas Roadhouse will also contribute, but from its April 21 proceeds.) The last three require that you print out and bring a flyer; you'll find those at www.carolinascare.org.
