Maddi's Southern Bistro will serve its last dinner Saturday -- the accompanying gallery at Birkdale will be moving its stock back to the original Dilworth location after a 40 percent off sale all week. All week, the bistro will offer half-price bottles of wine and $2.50 beers, along with gallery fixtures, restaurant equipment and furniture for sale. Birkdale Village, Huntersville, 704-987-7777.

Another victim. Restaurants have been hit hard in particular. Very sad.
Maddi's was one of the best restaurants in North Charlotte.

Cold fried chicken is good as left overs, not as the main meal at Maddi's. Just sayin'! JR Rocker's should expand into the space.
Maddi's was a really interesting concept (southern food and southern art). I hate that they couldn't make it.
The fried chicken at Maddi's was the best in town by far. Just sayin'. Hate to lose Maddi's!!!
Interstate 77 north is for folks who don't like Birkdale. Don't hesitate to get on it.

Maddi's southern bistro was one of the best places to go eat in the north charlotte area. It will be missed and the seafood alfredo cannot be matched. Fried chicken and green tomatoes made the menu.
Very sad.
It seems North Charlotte either prefers cookie-cutter fine dining, or subs and salads.
Noooooo!!!!! Maddi's is my favorite restaurant in Charlotte! And I'm out of town so I can't enjoy it one last time. Plus I have a Groupon I bought for there! Sucks!!
