The Oxford American's Southern food issue is coming up and accompanying events will be held in four cities, Charlotte tragically not among them. Charleston, Atlanta, New Orleans and, naturally, New York. (That said, not all of New York is apparently taken with the "Southern-fried restaurant craze"; witness here.)
