Queen City Q plans to open a second location, at Plantation Market Shopping Center in Matthews, in early summer. The original opened in uptown nearly three years ago, and began selling barbecue at the Knights' ballpark last season. The new location will seat about 120, including space on a covered patio. Sounds like they're going to take over the space currently used by Mario's Pizza, which is moving to a stand-alone site down Weddington Road.
