Coming up

Sweet Lorraine’s Bakery plans its grand opening in Dilworth for July 14. Chef/owner Christine Guerriero, a New York native, trained at the French Culinary Institute and named the bakery for her late mother; father Chuck and sisters Michelle and Stephanie will help with the business. Paint, eat, contribute: The Guerrilla Artists Group, a nonprofit that does youth art programs for kids who can't afford extracurricular art activities, plans a fundraiser 6-9 p.m. July 17 at Harvest Moon Grille. The Wooden Vine hosts an Iberian wine dinner July 17. I have been to a wine dinner at the Wooden Vine in the past and it was an awesome experience! The presentation was awesome. I won't miss this one.
The Wooden Vine is one of the best kept secrets in uptown, they have a new chef and he is very good!
